As my friends and family celebrated the new year last night, I was on Mercy Drive in Orlando, covering a shooting.
A teenager was shot in the face.
He survived, thank God, and is in stable condition at the hosptial.
I'm not saying this to complain, but to say that I'm grateful...
Grateful for a job that continues to expose me to some of the harsh realities of this world- only strengthening my faith in what is good.
